How trending works
The 'Trending' feature, allows viewers to keep up with the most popular videos on your AVideo platform.
'Trending' identifies and ranks videos that have garnered the most views in the last 30 days. The videos with the highest number of likes are then placed at the top of the list. This way, viewers can easily find and enjoy the most liked and viewed content on your platform.
By default, 'Trending' considers the view counts from the last 30 days. However, this duration is customizable using the CustomizeAdvanced plugin. You can set the duration to daily, or to any of these time frames: 10 days, 15 days, 20 days, 25 days, 30 days, or 60 days. This allows you to tailor the 'Trending' feature to best suit the viewing habits and preferences of your audience.
- Navigate to the
CustomizeAdvancedplugin. - Look for the setting related to the 'Trending' duration.
- Select your preferred duration from the dropdown list.
Remember, a shorter duration will make the 'Trending' videos change more frequently, while a longer duration will keep the same videos on the 'Trending' list for a longer period.
